Additional Resources
If we can't help, we know someone who can.
Funding
WSBP does not offer any funding for businesses through our organization. We have unbiased, non-committed relationships with a variety of lenders, institutions, and resources, and we can get you ready to meet with these entities. Below is not an exhaustive or wholly inclusive list of resources available for funding. If you're looking to have an in-depth conversation about funding matches, give us a call or visit your local VtSBDC for referrals.
I've heard about GRANTS for women starting businesses...
We've heard about them, too, but they're few and far between. Think of them as unicorns. We hear about them and they sound perfect, but we rarely actually lay our hands on them.
There are grants for both start up and existing businesses in specialty areas. Here in Vermont, specialty agricultural grants exist with the state, and there are some grants available for technology-related businesses.
Here are two sites to check out if you're looking for grants.
-
Fundera - a loan match-making site. They have a great blog about all-things-start-up that's definitely worth looking into.
-
Grants.gov - a clearinghouse for federal grants
We're here for you.
